Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team in our mental health outpatient program located in Horsham, Pennsylvania that provides services to both adults and adolescents. The Clinical Supervisor will oversee the delivery of clinical services, provide supervision and support to clinical staff, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of our treatment programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health disorders, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing evidence-based, client-centered care.
**$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS**
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to counselors, therapists, and other clinical staff members.
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support staff development and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and other members of the leadership team to develop and implement treatment plans and program policies.
- Monitor client progress and outcomes, and provide feedback and support to staff as needed.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other multidisciplinary meetings to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of clinical staff, and conduct performance evaluations as required.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based treatments, and provide training and education to staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical supervision sessions, client progress notes, and other required paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines governing clinical practice.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Maintain a caseload if necessary to ensure compliance with staff to patient ratios within the program.
Qualifications:
- Current license to practice as a clinical social worker, professional counselor, psychologist, or other mental health professional in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Master's or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the mental health primary.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating mental health disorders, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology used in behavioral health settings.
- Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
Working Conditions:
- This position primarily operates in a clinical office environment.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, trainings, or conferences.
- Flexible schedule may be necessary to accommodate evening or weekend sessions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced, client-centered setting.
Physical Demands: The employee is occasionally required to stand and be on their feet for long portions of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
