Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments and handling cash accurately.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their orders.
- Monitor customer behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders during busy service periods.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for special events, such as banquets or private parties.
- Keep inventory of supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Skills
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience working in a nightclub or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits along with the ability to create new drink recipes.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
