Job Summary
Hope Valley Inc. currently is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing Manufacturing Supervisor for our 2nd Shift in our manufacturing facility located in Lincoln, RI. This role will lead by example; uphold current and establish safety standards, monitor and audit safety in the workplace. Communicate with and coach employees on all aspects of teamwork, performance and safe work practices as a top priority. A key aspect of this role is to provide effective leadership, communication and inspiration to achieve ultimate operational objectives.
Job Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire plant operation, overseeing all aspects of production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel management.
- Develop and implement production plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve operational targets, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
- Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
- Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production schedules.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, and proactively address any production-related issues or concerns.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing regular updates on plant performance, risks, and opportunities.
Job Qualifications
- Must have manufacturing experience - Mold Injection Process - Plus
- College degree in management, industrial or mechanical engineering technology, or similar. Will consider a combination of college and work experience.
- A minimum of five years' experience in production management/continuous improvement roles.
- Knowledge production processes (lean, six sigma, DFT).
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement/cost savings projects.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,000.00 - $79,588.00 per year
