Who We Are
Hope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Hope Residential Academy provides residential placement for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in thirteen community-based, family-style homes. Staff at our homes focus upon our clients’ health and safety by providing appropriate levels of supervision based upon the clients’ needs and capabilities. Children in our homes participate in after-school, evening, and weekend activities led by a dedicated recreation team. The goal of the Hope Residential Academy is to create a true home for the children in our care.
Summary
The Residential Services Coordinator (RSC) provides administrative supports in coordinating essential functions of Hope Residential Academy, including setting shifts, filling overtime vacancies, checking timecard punches, notifying staff of training recertification requirements, and sending reports to the Home Administrators.
What You Will Do
- Organize staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels, along with implementing appropriate overtime and float procedures.
- Weekly posting/awarding of overtime, following all guidelines established by management and AFSCME Local 2481.
- Review medical calendars and assign staff to accompany youth on medical trips.
- Input daily updates of employee status and attendance.
- Contact employees with notices of scheduled re-certification trainings.
- Verify schedules against actual hours worked and notify managers of tardiness and absenteeism violations.
What You Will Bring
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and qualification as a DCFS licensed driver.
- Successful background clearance.
