Hopewell Animal Hospital is a privately owned, AAHA accredited, Low-Stress Handling, Cat Friendly Certified Practice striving to provide high quality medicine and surgery in a low stress atmosphere. We recently expanded with our Center for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Rehabilitation Therapy along with onsite grooming. We are located in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Our goal is to treat every client and patient as the whole and unique individual that she or he is. We use traditional and complementary methods, as well as appropriate referrals to provide the ultimate integrated veterinary care.
Veterinary Receptionist
We are seeking a hard-working, energetic, personable, enthusiastic, eager to learn and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!
Qualifications:
- 1 year Veterinary Experience (Preferred)
- 1 year Customer Service Experience (Preferred)
- High school or equivalent
Major Duties:
- Manage busy call volumes in a friendly and compassionate manner
- Schedule doctors and technician appointments
- Relay messages to doctors and technicians thoroughly and efficiently
- Manage client flow from check-in, to appointment, and check-out ensuring an exceptional client experience
- Provide information about hospital products and services
- Document and update customer records
- Deescalate client concerns and complaints
- Maintain appropriate communication with staff members
- Proficiency with computers and veterinary software's
