What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher Needed position at Hopewell Development & Achievement Center?
Our child care facility is looking for a caring, compassionate, accountable Child care worker who has experience caring for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. If you are a patient, caring professional with a background in child care, we hope you will get in touch about this position. Teacher responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- creating and assist in lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment.
- Follow a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all the interactive areas sanitary and safe.
- monitor children during inside/outside activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning.
- maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations.
- prepare and serve meals and monitor child during lunch time
- before and after school drop off and pick up.
Must have a High School Diploma/GED required
2 years child care experience
Must possess valid CPR and first aid certifications
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
caring and compassionate attitude is a must
must be a team player. Must have reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
