Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Office Assistant for our PARC Program including Front Office Specialist dutiesto join our team located in Athens, OH.
As the Office Assistant with our PARC Program, you will be responsible for answering multi-line phone, scheduling client appointments, working with CPST staff, copying, typing/word processing, and must be able to perform various tasks in a fast-paced mental health facility. When working the Front Office, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments with providers, checking in patients, verifying insurance information, personal information etc. This position is also responsible for entering information in the electronic health records system.
What do we look for in our Office Assistant - Front Office Specialists??
- Eligible to work in the United Stated
- High School Diploma or GED
- General knowledge of General Office Equipment preferred; phones, scanners, copier, fax, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive and pleasant attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Must be able to work well with the general public as well as the providers and clinicians.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality as well as Hopewell policies and procedures.
