## Job Overview
As a memeber of the Inside Sales team you will be working with homeowners and contractors to select and order the materials needed for their new construction or remodeling jobs. Building materials you will be familiar with are roofing, siding, windows, doors, stone, decking, and railing. You will work with customer service reps from our vendors to order material and resolve any issues that may arise. General hours are M-F 7-4 with some Saturdays 7-12.
## Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to all who enter or call the store.
- Order special order material and ensure that all pricing and quantities are correct on purchase orders.
- Schedule deliveries for our drivers.
- Order stock materials.
- Assist in any other aspect of the business as needed.
## Skills
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and POS systems.
- Prior experience in inside sales or customer service is a plus
- Knowledge of technical sales concepts is advantageous
