Human Resources Service Center Representative is responsible for providing Tier I and Tier 2 assistance to employees, leaders, HR Business Partners, and former employees on HR solutions, Horace Mann policies and procedures, Leave Administration assistance and ADA accommodations with the expectation to resolve and document each inquiry.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for high quality and accurate recording of all new and existing employee demographic, salary, and personnel information into the HRIS/payroll/time and attendance systems in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist with the administration of company HR programs and policies, including as State Unemployment, Wellness Reimbursement, and the Corporate Flower Program.
- Under direct supervision provide Tier I support via telephone, email, or chat for HR-related matters, including HR systems, term letter creation and distribution, and triaging escalated inquiries to the appropriate resources.
- Provide resources and tools to employees and leaders on HR solutions.
- Process HR system tasks, new hire processing, and initiate timecard processing reminders.
- Respond to legal and employee requests for employee files in accordance with state regulations.
- Prepare documentation for employee file imaging and storage.
- H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Entry level position – data entry or call center experience preferred.
- Experience having access to, working with, and maintaining confidential/sensitive information.
- Ability to follow strict standard operating procedures and to recognize when a situation requires escalation.
- $17.16 - $25.38/hr.
