Alarm System Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems and the ability to work with various tools and technologies.

Duties

• Install, configure, and maintain alarm systems, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations.
• Manage cabling for alarm systems, ensuring proper routing and connections.
• Provide training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Document all work performed, including system configurations and service reports.

Experience

• Proven experience in alarm system installation or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and remote access software is a plus.
• Knowledge of locksmithing principles is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to detect issues in low voltage systems and implement effective solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.35 - $45.00 per hour
