Audio Video Install Tech 2

Job Purpose

As an Audio Video Install Tech 2, your primary responsibility will be to perform installation tasks for Horizon AVL contracted projects. These tasks may include cable pulls, cable terminations, installation of system equipment and components, as well as rack fabrication and wiring. Additionally, you will be responsible for the layout of equipment and metal fabrication. You will have the opportunity to lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects in accordance with project directives and requirements, while reporting progress to the Project Manager. Your ability to coordinate and manage resources effectively will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is a minimum requirement for this position
• A background screen and driving records check will be performed for all applicants
• Applicant’s must show a legal ability to work within the United States (via I9 verification)
• Superior client relationship management is a requirement for this position (i.e. exhibiting the ability to create an atmosphere of tension relief during high stress encounters)

• Preferences will be given to those applicants possessing any of the following characteristics:

• A technical school/education certification/degree
• Client relations related training/certifications
• AVIXA CTS related certifications
• BSS, Biamp, Crestron, QSC, and Extron related certifications
• Networking/IT related certifications
• Experience with audio-visual related systems (1-3 years of AV support preferred).
• Experience trouble shooting video walls, control systems, and DSP
• Experience with video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience in a field related to providing face-to-face client technical system support.
• Experience with supporting internal and external client relationships.

Working conditions

The work schedule for this position may be flexible and subject to client needs, including travel to various locations in support of the account. As part of the role, you will primarily work on customer sites that may have a construction-like environment. While local commuting is the norm, occasional longer commutes may be required with overnight stays in hotels. Physical requirements

This position may require physical exertion from time to time. You may need to use ladders, lifts, and scaffolding to work at elevated heights, as well as lift heavy objects. As such, maintaining good physical fitness is crucial to performing your duties effectively. We prioritize your safety above all else, regardless of the nature of the project. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
