We've been making waves in the WI, IL and IN markets for over a decade, and now we're looking for a passionate Project Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Project Engineer Intern, you'll be at the heart of our construction projects, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and clients.
What You'll Do :
Construction Management :
Assist in developing and reviewing construction drawings and managing permitting processes.
Help prepare bid documents and support contract negotiations.
Monitor project schedules, inspect projects for compliance, and assist in planning and communication.
Support project estimating, financial reviews, and managing invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
Participate in meetings to review project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Assist Project Managers in monitoring costs, budget variances, and expenditures.
Field Operations :
Ensure site quality control and compliance with project specifications and standards.
Assist in developing and executing project punch lists, scheduling staff, and managing safety protocols.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contractual requirements.
Identify and assist in implementing corrective actions for non-compliance and safety hazards.
Project Coordination :
Keep plans and specifications updated and distribute them to relevant parties.
Assist in documentation for Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
Administer contracts within Project Management software and maintain logs.
Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting agendas, and minutes.
What We're Looking For :
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Basic understanding of construction practices, techniques, and industry standards.
Familiarity with construction safety regulations and building codes.
Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
