As a Clinical Supervisor at Horizon, you will…
- Provide direct services as needed and consistent with the requirements and duties of the position.
- Ensure that services are provided consistent with agency standards, regulations and best practices.
- Ensure that clinical records are accurate, adequate and current as per OMH & OASAS regulations.
- Provide direct clinical supervision to multi-disciplinary team counseling staff members regarding service delivery and caseload management.
- Monitor the completion and accuracy of clinical documentation by multi-disciplinary team counseling staff.
- Identify counseling staff professional and clinical skill development needs, communicates these to the Program Director, and provides assistance as needed with accessing training and other resources.
- In the absence of the Program Director, may perform day to day management of the program operation including management of staff, monitoring the maintenance of the site and reporting to administration.
- Assist the Program Director with coordination of multi-disciplinary team efforts in the provision of services.
- Assist the Program Director in assuring that the program complies with Horizon’s policies and procedures, the regulations of certifying agencies, and the requirements of funding sources.
- Assist the Program Director in the evaluation of the program’s clinical staff in accordance with Horizon Health Services Personnel Policies and Procedures.

What makes you a great candidate?
We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job:
- Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related degree required.
- Licensed (LMSW, LMHC, LCSW) with 3 years of clinical experience required.
- LCSW or LMHC-D preferred.
- DBT knowledge/training preferred
- Experience providing direct care to child and adolescent populations
- Training in play therapy preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
Location:
This position is located at 2400 Pine Ave, Niagara Falls NY.
Hours:
This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position with variable hours with evening availability.
Compensation:
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $68,224 - $70,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
This position entails eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 for your commitment to work at our Horizon Certified Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) located at our Pine Avenue Recovery Center and Lockport Recovery Centers for at least one year. A change in scheduled hours or location of employment may impact eligibility of bonus.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
