As a Purchasing Coordinator at Horizon, you will be responsible for…
- Implement organized purchasing process at Horizon.
- Streamline and centralize purchasing processes company-wide.
- Work with vendors to establish consistent price lists.
- Enhance corporate credit card purchasing policy.
- Establish consistent RFP procedures company-wide.
- Monitor and report on cost savings through detailed analyses.
- Work closely with department directors and Accounts Payable team.

- High School Diploma and ten years' relevant experience required.
- OR -
- Associates with 5 years' relevant experience required.
- Purchasing Experience.
- Accounts Payable Experience.
- Strong organizational and research skills.
- Self-Starter.
Location:
This position is located at our corporate office at 55 Dodge Road, Getzville, NY 14068. There is a possibility for hybrid work after successful 90 days onboarding period in this role.
Hours:
This position is full-time with flexible daytime hours from Monday – Friday.
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. This position starts at an hourly rate of $25.24-$28.85. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
