Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and equipped with necessary instruments and materials.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation for each patient visit, including treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized following aseptic techniques.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Open Dental for patient management and documentation.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy related to general dentistry.
- Experience or familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Proficiency in dental documentation practices.
- Ability to operate dental imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sterile environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Previous experience in a dental assistant role is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $21.50 - $26.00 per hour
