Infant Lead Teacher- Experience in an infant classroom is required along with a Child Development Associate (CDA) or a degree in Education or a related field. You will create lesson plans and maintain documentation to provide an educational, safe, emotionally supportive environment for the children. Fulltime Monday through Friday. Parent communication is key!
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr. Placement in this range is dependent on professional development levels for education and training. Additional incentives may be available for special duty assignment(s). Responsibilities for an Infant Lead Teacher:
- Responsible for the care and supervisor of the children in the classroom-build relationships and a caring classroom environment
- Develop age appropriate and differentiated classroom schedule, lesson plans and classroom environment to support preschool readiness and individual learning for each child
- Complete screenings and ongoing assessments to determine child progress and needs.
- Demonstrates knowledge of infant guidelines and ITERS regularly through lesson plan implementation.
- Maintain documentation for services provided, progress reports and attendance
- Build positive relationships with families and community
- Work as part of a team with the teacher assistant, center staff and the director
