Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
-Day shift
-Monday - Friday
-No Weekends
Hours may vary 7am-330pm, 8am-430pm, 830am-5pm MONDAY-FRIDAY NO WEEKENDS 8 HOUR SHIFT

Job Description:
Looking for a motivated medical assistant to work in a very busy endoscopy suite in Middletown, NY.
The role of the MA is assisting the doctors in a procedure room, collecting specimens, creating a pathology requisition, in-taking a patient, and obtaining vital signs.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms for procedures
-in-taking a patient, obtaining vital signs
- Assist doctors and nurses that perform endoscopy, colonoscopy procedures
-Collecting specimens, creating a pathology requisition
- Prepare and maintain the instruments and equipment used in procedure room

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Experience required. Preferably looking for an MA with at least 1 year of GI experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- BLS is a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
