Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor/Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families, addressing substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health challenges. This position requires a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) with strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to client-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to clients.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address SUD and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, case managers, and support staff to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Stay current with developments in the fields of counseling, SUD, and mental health treatment.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current and active licensed/certified in Washington State as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for SUD and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Strong understanding of Washington State laws and regulations regarding mental health and SUD treatment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Mental Health Professional (MHP)
- Certification or experience in trauma-focused therapy, CBT, DBT, or other evidence based modalities.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including underserved communities.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Credentialing as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) in Washington State.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
