Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise billing staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure accurate claim submission.
- Collaborate with the Coding Department Manager regarding claim denials and appeals. Stay updated on all relevant healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, FQHC Medicare & Medicaid) and ensure compliance within the department. Generate comprehensive billing reports, including revenue cycle metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and analysis of billing trends.
