About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, preparing high-quality meals, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels. Key responsibilities include closing down the kitchen after dinner service, maintaining high cleanliness and organization standards, and providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train junior staff members
- Maintain stock control and inventory levels
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors
- Manage budgeting and cost control processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a working Sous Chef
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with nutritional labeling and allergen awareness
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing periods
Preferred Qualifications:
