What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Accounting Manager position at HORIZON HOSPITALITY (Hospitality Executive Search)?
We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager for a nationally-recognized sports, entertainment and hospitality company based in Northbrook, IL to oversee their corporate accounting and reporting. This role will oversee the corporate accounting team consisting of AP, AR, and two staff accountants primarily focused on accounting month end and treasury functions, while being an integral part of processing and verifying month-end close. Base Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 (Commensurate with Experience) comprehensive benefits, 401k w/company match, PTO, and more!
Requirements:
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- CPA preferred but not required
- Strong team leadership and communication ability
- Proven track record of timely and accurate financial reporting
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (or other related field / hands-on accounting experience)
