What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Sales position at HORIZON HOSPITALITY (Hospitality Executive Search)?
We are seeking a self-driven Director of Sales for a lovely branded hotel near Ames, IA. This role is an active seller and will promote the hotel across multiple market segments. The hotel's proximity to ISU will allow a strong DOS to maximize bonus opportunities by delivering rooms revenue throughout the year. Tremendous support is also provided as this hotel is part of a wildly successful Midwest-based hotel ownership and management group.
COMPENSATION: Base Salary $60,000 - $70,000 16% bonus potential, comprehensive benefits package, 401k w/match, PTO and more!
Director of Sales Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in hotel sales management
- Experience working within the extended stay or limited service segment
- Strong revenue management skills are preferred
- Tenacious and able to be a true sales "hunter"
- Team player mentality and willing to help out as needed to ensure hotel profitability
