We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Operations to drive the growth of a renowned Restaurant and Brewery Group based in Hartford, CT. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing overall company performance by optimizing sales, marketing strategies, and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of boosting profitability through effective operational leadership, making them a valuable asset to our team.

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 (Commensurate with experience) bonus, health benefits, flexible schedule, PTO plan, and more!

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on food and beverage operations, and multi-unit management experience are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in brewery or taproom operations is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing profit and loss statements, and implementing strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships that drive growth and success.
  • A results-oriented, high-energy professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and operational excellence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality trends, compliance requirements, and best practices in food and beverage operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; advanced certifications or industry-specific training are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitability by identifying and implementing opportunities to optimize profit margins and reduce costs across all operations.
  • Strategically develop and execute operational plans to support sustainable business growth and long-term success.
  • Oversee the preparation, management, and evaluation of budgets to ensure financial objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, fostering collaboration and communication between onsite teams, vendors, contractors, and the board of directors to align goals and priorities.
  • Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships at both local and national levels to enhance the company’s brand, market presence, and operational capabilities.
  • Analyze market trends and operational data to make informed decisions that drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of operational integrity and quality.
  • Mentor and lead team members, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
