Position Overview:
The Leasing Agent is our property’s sales representative, whose primary duties include leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for residential apartments. This role is service-oriented and strives to make current and future residents feel welcome and comfortable during the leasing process and throughout their stay in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively lease apartments in accordance with the policies and procedures set by management.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
- Assist management in measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and conducting periodic market surveys to stay competitive.
- Foster positive relationships with current and prospective residents, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Requirements
- Must have prior leasing experience
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance required
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to support and contribute to community team.
- Ability to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, MS Outlook and 365, database/online systems, such as Onesite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, when needed, with your schedule
- Ability to demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
- Ability to comprehend basic math skills.
- Ability to multi-task as evident through effective organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English language in order to communicate with others. Bi-lingual skills are helpful.
