What are the responsibilities and job description for the AFC Home Manager position at Horizon North?
Horizon North is a long standing 12 bed adult foster care home for men with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. We have a dedicated staff that provide excellent care for our clients for many years. Our clients are mostly independent in their ADL skills. Team work is a top priority for this position We are looking to enhance this team with a new leader/home manager. This position will require the following qualities.
*Knowledge of AFC licensing requirements and responsibilities and ability to keep all required documents accurate and up to date.
*Ability to have good communication skills to address and issues or concerns with CMH, physicians, guardians and families as needed.
*Ability to coordinate schedules which will include staff schedules, clients appointments, meetings and outings.
*Schedule staff training and keep all training requirements up to date.
*Ability to supervise staff in a fair and supportive manner.
In addition to salary we offer premium pay incentives ranging from $8000.00 to $8500.00. Paid vacation after one year.
