Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This is an exciting outside sales position that focuses on prospecting, building relationships, and driving revenue through the sale of telecommunication services (TV, phone, and internet) to both residential and business customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a proactive mindset, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and trust.
- Sales Presentations: Present and demonstrate Horizon’s telecommunication products and services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a pipeline of prospects and track progress through the sales cycle, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of deals.
- Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position Horizon’s products.
- Achieving Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales team and leadership to align on sales strategies and customer feedback.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous sales experience in telecommunications, outside sales, or business development is a plus, but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build relationships and close deals effectively.
- Motivation: Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, email, and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
- Flexibility: Comfortable with a flexible work schedule and the ability to manage your time effectively to meet sales targets.
