What will our day look like?

As a Facility Safety and Prevention Specialist you will :
- Monitor video surveillance for any unusual or suspicious activity within and around the facility.
- Educate and train staff on proper safety and security procedures.
- Performs regulatory building audits, tickets, inspections, maintains reports and tracking systems to provide a safe and healthy environment for all patients and staff by maintaining regulatory and code requirement.
- Assist on site staff with de- escalation of patients, visitors, volunteers, venders, and employees.
- Monitor foot traffic in and out of the facility ensuring all personnel complete are authorized to enter the facility.
- Communicating with local law enforcement about any incidents and ensuring local and federal security compliance

Location :
This position is located at our facility at 291 Elm St, Buffalo NY.
Hours :
This position is per-diem on Saturday & Sunday from 5 : 00pm - 12 : 00am.
Must have holiday availability (if your shift falls on a holiday, you will be paid time and a half).
If your shift falls on a holiday you will receive a floating holiday to use at a later date along with time and a half.
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $20.30-$22.00. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
