Horizon Sports and Experiences (HS&E) includes the merger of Horizon Media's Scout Sports and Entertainment division and was created to provide a differentiated and comprehensive approach for clients engaging in sports and experiential marketing. With a fully-integrated service model, HS&E includes a core focus on IP creation and monetization, strategic advisory and consulting, media rights, sponsorship, sales, and experiential strategy and activation – transforming marketers' ability to more seamlessly and effectively leverage their brand assets, content, and engagement strategies to drive increased growth. In addition, given the transformative impact that Web3 and the metaverse are expected to have in both the sports and experiences arenas, Horizon Media's recently launched metaverse consultancy, Chapter & Verse, also resides under the expanded offerings of HS&E.

Salary Range
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. What You’ll Do
50% - Design and Execution
Act as the creative and design lead on all relevant projects and events, including but not limited to:
- Creation of dynamic mock-ups that translate promotional and experiential ideas into a realistic visual representation used for internal and external new business and existing client project development
- Design of any materials necessary for client projects, including signage, print/digital ads, marketing collateral, premiums, schematics, spatial, experiential, etc.
- Collaboration with event and account teams to ensure creative execution across relevant activations
- Collaboration with event and account teams on development of project recaps for client and internal purposes
- Lead creative-specific communication and coordination between clients, account teams, and relevant vendors and partners
- Support Events team and Account teams in management and execution of all events and experiential campaigns
- Development, evolution and maintenance of one consistent brand look and feel across all materials (Decks, sales materials, handbooks, website, social media, proposals, etc.)
- Includes creation of well-designed decks and case studies for business development team
- Utilize creative and innovative thinking skills to develop marketing concepts and event activation strategies for clients and brand teams (pushing the envelope and thinking outside of the box), including participation in all brainstorms
- Be a thought leader in team meetings and to lead brainstorms of their own to develop new concepts
- Help lead client presentations with the creative and/or events and account teams
- Communicate with the Associate Director to discuss: creative process, internal development and timelines.
- Continue to bolster Horizon’s creative offerings and portfolio with eye-catching design
- Confidence in presenting to colleagues and clients.
- Keep Manager/Supervisor updated on the status and timing of deliverables
- Engage and effectively interact with other Horizon departments, i.e., business solutions teams, WHY, OOH
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships (internal and external)
- Uphold high standards when representing Horizon and our clients
- Provide the highest level of client service
- Team-spirited and collaborative to achieve client objectives
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working on multiple clients and activations at a time
- Passionate about the live and virtual event landscape and a desire to innovate and keep up with trends
- Tremendous organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and competing priorities
- An innovative thinker, concepting creative ideas for various activations
- A strong writer, listener, communicator and presenter
- An advocate for and supporter of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (minimum) in Graphic Design or related field
- 2 years of professional design experience at an agency or brand
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficiency in 3D rendering (e.g., SketchUp, CAD, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of presentation software including PowerPoint and Keynote with proven experience developing persuasive presentations
- Print production experience (e.g., formatting print ready files, scaling art) for small- and large-scale projects
- Ability to work nights, weekends or travel for client programs and/or events
- Animation/motion graphics/video experience is a plus
- Event experience is a big plus
