What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Designer position at Moleskine America, Inc?
Moleskine is seeking a Junior Designer to work alongside the US-based Store Design, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing departments to achieve the elevated vision for Moleskine’s next generation of visual excellence.
The Junior Designer is responsible for all aspects of 2D and 3D design related to Wholesale and Retail, special projects and events.
Areas of Responsibility
- Marketing – Creation of ad-hoc graphics, and graphic/drawn illustrations, assist with asset management in SharePoint.
- Store Design – Assist with design of new & existing stores in 3D software.
- Visual Merchandising – Support guideline creation, window renderings, and graphics.
- Design – Creation of ad-hoc planograms, graphics, and fixtures, including sales tools, displays.
- Trade Marketing – Lead creation and updates of seasonal catalogues, one sheets & sales tools.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design, and/or relevant industry experience
- Ability to work in Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
- Proven experience in 3D design
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
