Machine Shop Assistant

Looking for someone who knows their way around a machine shop.

This is a critical role that will help with machine maintenance and repairs, overall shop cleanliness, facility maintenance and repair, shop organization, tooling organization, etc. General electrical, mechanical, plumbing and handyman skills a huge plus.

Skills & Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment

· Basic math skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure

· Basic computer skills including data input

· Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision

· Ability to read and write in English

· Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs frequently

· Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, squat and reach frequently

· Good communication and team work skills

· Fast paced worker with a good work ethic and willingness to learn are essential traits for this position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
