Job Summary

Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic life support as needed and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of physiology, hospital medicine, and emergency protocols.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient care procedures is a plus.
- Understanding of dermatology practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A solid foundation in physiology knowledge to assist with patient assessments.
- Previous experience in medical administrative support is an advantage.
