What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Center Practicum (Summer Camp) position at Horizons Programs Inc?
Camp Horizons is Hiring! Recipient of the American Camping Foundation's Eleanor P. Eells Award for Program Excellence, Horizons is a unique residential summer camp dedicated to children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for College students on track to becoming a Registered Nurse or a related profession to gain hands on experience working in our Health Center.
As a Health Assistant, work under a Registered Nurse and with a team of Health Center Staff while ensuring the Health and Safety of our campers and staff through the summer! Administer Medication, Perform First Aid, keep health records, etc. Great position for current Nursing Students looking for field work over the summer season.

All staff live on grounds. Room and board provided. Camp runs from June 8th to August 16th. Stipend Pay in addition to school credit/internship if applicable. Weekly time off and a break between July 12th and July 18th. Think out-of-the box and join our unique, community-based organization!
