Description:
The cloud network engineer will help develop and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for Cloud infrastructure. The candidate will bridge the gap between the traditional on-prem network infrastructure and the network infrastructure deployed in the public cloud. The primary focus of this individual is to work with the current team of engineers to develop a strategy around evolving our current cloud network deployment in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OCI and Microsoft Azure.

1. Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting on-prem and public cloud network infrastructure.
2. Experience implementing cloud connectivity solutions using AWS Direct Connect, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Interconnect, and Azure Express Route.
3. Proficient with network automation leveraging Python, Ansible, GitHub, JSON, Terraform, Rest APIs, and other network automation
Additional Skills:
Experience in managing all cloud-native network technologies offered by AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OCI and Microsoft Azure using automation.
In-depth understanding of routing, switching, firewall, and network monitoring and management.
Extensive knowledge and experience of interconnecting cloud regions as well as cloud to on-prem in a globally deployed network infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of cloud native network security techniques using AWS Security Groups, AWS NACLs, AWS Firewall Manager, AWS WAF, Google Cloud Platform VPC Service Controls, Google Cloud Platform VPC Firewalls, Azure Network Firewalls, and Azure Security Groups.
Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance.
Develop customized monitoring and alerting solutions.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing environment, while being able to set priorities and balance multiple deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the organization, as well as business partners, vendors and technical staff.
Ability to work on a team or independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines. Knows how to escalate appropriately, efficiently, and effectively.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills; able to manage a complex project independently, while functioning effectively under time constraints, established deadlines and within budget.
