Are you passionate about providing top-notch technical support and enjoy traveling within the metro area? We are looking for a Helpdesk Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us keep our technology running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 helpdesk support and handle complex queries about installation and operation.
- Maintain and support personal computers, servers, local and wide area networks, software, and data communications technologies.
- Coordinate and schedule PC refreshes, replacing outdated hardware with new equipment.
- Travel to various metro and extended metro locations, including office and power plant environments, to complete device refreshes.
- Collaborate with end users to manage and resolve any issues post-deployment, escalating to the larger team if necessary.
Skills
- 4-6 years of experience in a HelpDesk role.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Windows 11.
- Experience with ServiceNow for managing and tracking tickets.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD for managing user and device access.
- Basic skills in PowerShell for occasional scripting tasks.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with general peripherals.
- Experience working within both office and power plant environments.
