Helpdesk Specialist

Are you passionate about providing top-notch technical support and enjoy traveling within the metro area? We are looking for a Helpdesk Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us keep our technology running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 helpdesk support and handle complex queries about installation and operation.
• Maintain and support personal computers, servers, local and wide area networks, software, and data communications technologies.
• Coordinate and schedule PC refreshes, replacing outdated hardware with new equipment.
• Travel to various metro and extended metro locations, including office and power plant environments, to complete device refreshes.
• Collaborate with end users to manage and resolve any issues post-deployment, escalating to the larger team if necessary.

Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in a HelpDesk role.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Windows 11.
• Experience with ServiceNow for managing and tracking tickets.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD for managing user and device access.
• Basic skills in PowerShell for occasional scripting tasks.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with general peripherals.
• Experience working within both office and power plant environments.
