We are seeking a dynamic Lead Project Manager to oversee large-scale internal implementation projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex initiatives while collaborating with diverse teams in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and manage implementation activities for highly complex projects/programs throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure timely project completion and delivery while analyzing work plans and schedules.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, distributing timely meeting minutes and managing action items.
- Assess and manage risks, impacts, and potential alternatives, escalating issues as necessary.
- Define project objectives and establish clear measures to meet deliverables and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the project lifecycle, ensuring their needs are met.
- Identify and ensure participation of all required internal and vendor resources for on-time delivery.
- Mentor and lead project team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of related experience in project management.
- Proven experience leading multiple complex projects in the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of implementation processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to make business decisions that impact project outcomes positively.
Preferred Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Certification.
- Experience with technologies such as DWDM, MPLS, Managed Services, and Security.
- Familiarity with SAP implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
