Position Overview:
We are seeking 3 highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) with hands-on experience in UKG Data View, Reports, and Data Hub to join our Workforce Management (WFM) team. These individuals will play a critical role in ensuring the testing and successful delivery of comprehensive HR, Legal, and Compliance Reports. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet both business needs and program timelines.
As a QA you will be responsible for the testing process from end-to-end, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining the high standards required for WFM program deliverables. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure that reports are not only delivered on time but also adhere to the required standards of performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Validation:
o Execute the testing of reports and data integrations within the UKG Data Hub and Data View environment as directed by your QA lead
o Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and scripts for the HR, Legal, and Compliance reports, ensuring thorough validation of data and logic.
o Identify, document, and track issues or defects in the reports, working closely with the development teams for resolution.
o Perform regression testing for new report versions and data changes to maintain data integrity.
Data Accuracy and Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that HR, Legal, and Compliance reports are built with accurate data extracted from the UKG Data View and Hub, ensuring they meet the defined requirements.
o Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure that all reports align with business rules, guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to understand their reporting requirements, business rules, and compliance needs.
o Liaise with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that reports are delivered according to timelines, meeting all functional and technical specifications.
Program Timelines and Deliverables:
o Monitor and track testing timelines for all HR, Legal, and Compliance reports, ensuring that milestones are met and deadlines are adhered to.
o Act as a point of contact for any testing-related inquiries and provide regular updates to management on testing progress.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain detailed and organized test documentation for all test cycles, including test cases, test results, and defect logs.
o Provide feedback on report quality, performance, and recommendations for improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
o Suggest and implement improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
o Stay current with updates to UKG systems and reporting tools, continuously improving testing procedures to align with system changes.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum of 5- 7 years of hands-on QA experience with UKG Data View, Data Hub, and reporting systems.
o Proven experience in testing and delivering HR, Legal, and Compliance reports within a Workforce Management (WFM) context.
o Strong knowledge of data validation and reporting testing processes.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in UKG platforms (Data View, Data Hub, Reports).
o Strong knowledge of SQL and database querying for data validation and report troubleshooting.
o Familiarity with HR, Legal, and Compliance regulations related to reporting.
Tools and Methodologies:
o Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestAssure) and defect tracking.
o Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques (preferred but not required).
o Experience with agile development methodologies and participating in sprint planning and execution.
Soft Skills:
o Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
o Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
