SQL Database Developer

We are seeking a talented SQL Database Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, focusing on migrating and optimizing databases while enhancing overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing MS Access databases from 32-bit to 64-bit versions, ensuring data integrity and functionality.
• Develop and implement complex stored procedures in SQL Server to automate database processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain MS Access databases, including tables, queries, forms, and reports.
• Upgrade existing VBA code and create new macros to improve database functionality.
• Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for efficient data integration and transformation.
• Monitor and optimize database performance for efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Provide user support and training, along with comprehensive documentation of database structures and processes.
  
  
  

Skills

• 5 to 7 years of experience in building and maintaining MS Access databases.
• Proficiency in MS Access, including tables, queries, forms, and reports.
• Strong knowledge of VBA and macros, with the ability to enhance existing code.
• Experience with SQL Server, including the development of complex stored procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot database issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and end-users.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ASP.Net is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
