Sr. IT Project Lead

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. IT Project Lead to join their team. This role requires minimal supervision and offers the opportunity to share best practices within the work group. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the organization, making recommendations for improvements, and simulating and testing process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for all IT vendor-related issues and inquiries.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with IT vendors in collaboration with procurement, ensuring the best value for the company.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT vendor services.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and procurement teams, to ensure IT vendor services meet their needs.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT vendor relationships in partnership with corporate procurement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT vendor management, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or 10 years experience in IT Vendor Management.
- Proven experience in IT vendor management, preferably with cloud, telecom, and hardware vendors.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT services, products, and market trends.
- Experience with vendor management software and tools is a plus.
- Professional certifications in vendor management or related fields (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Vendor Manager (CVM)).
