Our client is seeking a dedicated Sr. IT Project Lead to join their innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals and make a significant impact by leading the successful implementation of IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other critical stakeholders.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks and issues, and devise mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report project financials to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates, and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage project documentation and conduct project post-mortems to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Seven (7) years of IT project management experience in a private, public, or military environment.
- PMP Certified, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing Infrastructure or Cybersecurity Projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to all levels in a professional, concise manner.
- Self-starter with a self-directed approach to work.
- Experience working with global teams and directing vendor resources.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with Project Management software (e.g., MS Project, Clarity, Planview).
