Sr. Product Designer

We are looking for an accomplished Sr. Product Designer to join our team and help create intuitive and impactful user experiences across our digital products. If you are passionate about driving progress and making meaningful contributions, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Define innovative solutions that align with the organization's vision and user needs using problem-framing approaches and tools like Jira and Figma.
• Apply best practices in human-centered design to common design challenges during the digital product development process.
• Optimize processes and enhance user engagement based on direction from team leads or managers.
• Confidently communicate design decisions to cross-functional team members and senior stakeholders.
• Utilize design facilitation skills to foster collaboration and storytelling to build trust and establish long-term relationships.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in best practices and methodologies.
• Model leadership competencies and support a culture focused on continuous improvement and exceptional employee engagement.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Web Product Design, Web Development, or related fields.
• 6 years of experience in a related field, with at least 3 years in user experience, interaction design, product innovation, and research.
• Proven experience in leading projects and contributing to the development of multiple shipped digital products.
• Ability to develop processes for tackling design problems and uncovering quality solutions.
• Strong communication skills to explain design decisions and clarify success metrics.
• Demonstrated application of human-centered design with an understanding of business and technical impacts on digital design.
• Self-directed, proactive, and passionate about driving progress and making meaningful contributions.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration roles, focusing on delivering business value.
• Extensive knowledge of leveraging and pushing the boundaries of a design system to achieve product and user goals.
• Relevant agile experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in diversified financial services.
• Familiarity with current UX research, theories, and methodologies, especially user-centered design processes.
