What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator/ Assembler position at Hormann High Performance Doors?
Job Summary
The Machine Operator/Assembler will be part of the Manufacturing Department and will report to the Production Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of products using hand tool (drills, saws, punches, and pneumatic hand tools) as needed
- Use of automated assembly machines as needed including machining centers, press brakes, and/or laser cutters
- Ensure products being built are to the highest quality standards
Skills
- 3-5 yrs experience in a manufacturing environment working with manufacturing equipment and processes
- Experience operating automated machines or CNCs.
- Advanced computer skills
- Analytical problem solver
- Must be capable of reading a tape measure
- General math skills
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Must be able to work in a safe manner
- Quick learner, able to flex in and out of different jobs on a weekly or sometimes daily basis
