Assembler

HY-TECH designs, manufactures, and sells heavy-duty pneumatic impact tools, various industrial tools, air motors, hydro-pneumatic riveters, hydrostatic test plugs, impact sockets, and custom gears.

HY-TECH's "Engineered Solutions" products are sold directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), while industrial branded products are distributed through a broad network of specialized industrial distributors. These distributors serve industries such as power generation, petrochemical, aerospace, construction, railroad, mining, shipbuilding, and fabricated metals, among others. HY-TECH collaborates closely with its industrial customers to design and manufacture products, ranging from finished components to complete turnkey systems, which are then sold under the customers' own brand names.

HY-TECH is hiring an experienced Assembler to join a successful team.

An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

Essential Functions:

Use tools and machines to assemble pneumatic air tools and sub-assemblies.

Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.

Discern quality of parts and materials while assembling.

Confirm Inventory parts pulled and tracked by work order.

Test finished products and documents results. Reworks tools that do not meet standards.

Lasering and programming the laser.

Use touchup paint on unfinished parts as necessary.

Work as a team member.

Maintain the tools used to create products and keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

Follow company procedures and directives.

Skills:

Mechanical aptitude is necessary
