Hatchery Machine Monitor
Full Time Hourly
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $20.95 per hour.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled checks on temperatures in holding areas, hatcheries and incubators.
- Monitor poult holding room temps and assess poult comfort and well-being.
- Follow Bio- Security protocol, safety policy and animal welfare policy.
- Schedule shift is 6PM to 6AM. Rotation shift, 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week. Working in various temperatures from 55-101F with humidity of approx.. 76 degrees.
- Basic maintenance and repairs on Hatchery equipment, limited knowledge on pneumatics, plumbing and electrical.
- Startup servicing equipment on hatch days. Help unload and load trucks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
- Other duties as assigned by management
