Hatchery Machine Monitor
Full Time Hourly
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation packag e . The base hiring pay for this role is $20.95 per hour .
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
Job Responsibilities :
Perform scheduled checks on temperatures in holding areas, hatcheries and incubators.
Monitor poult holding room temps and assess poult comfort and well-being.
Follow Bio- Security protocol, safety policy and animal welfare policy.
Schedule shift is 6PM to 6AM. Rotation shift, 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week. Working in various temperatures from 55-101F with humidity of approx.. 76 degrees.
Basic maintenance and repairs on Hatchery equipment, limited knowledge on pneumatics, plumbing and electrical.
Startup servicing equipment on hatch days. Help unload and load trucks as needed.
Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
Other duties as assigned by management
