Job Summary

The Jennie-O Turkey Store Maintenance Department seeks skilled professionals to join our team as Maintenance Mechanics. We welcome individuals who are passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems with industrial equipment systems.
2. Carry out regular maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
3. Install new equipment and make modifications as needed to meet production requirements.
4. Respond to emergency situations as part of the Emergency Response Team.
5. Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
6. Comply with company policies and procedures regarding food safety and employee safety.

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
2. Able to follow instructions and work independently to achieve goals and objectives.
3. Ability to climb ladders and work safely in high places to access equipment.
4. Strong lifting and carrying abilities to transport materials and tools.
5. Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues.
6. Ability to work in cold, wet, humid environments and confined spaces.
7. Capacity to work in temperatures ranging from 38-50°F (3-10°C) or 60-90°F (15-32°C), depending on the department.
8. Ability to lift 50 pounds to transport equipment and materials.
