What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Representative- Full Time position at Horn Memorial Hospital?
Hiring a full time Patient Access Representative. Position is Monday through Friday, daytime hours with shifts varying between the hours of 6:30am to 5:30pm. Includes holiday rotation and may include some weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admit patients to all levels of care in the facility, including inpatients and outpatients
- Captures all insurance and patient demographic information for a complete registration
- Answers telephone at hospital switchboard and directs patients as needed
- Floats to Emergency Department registration as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Experience in a medical setting preferred. Must have good computer and communication skills. Must be friendly and service orientated.
Applicant must pass a background check, health assessment including applicable vaccinations, and drug screen before hiring. Position open until filled.
