What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Representative Night Shift- Full Time position at Horn Memorial Hospital?
Hiring a full time Patient Access Representative. Position is Monday through Friday, overnight hours with shifts from 11pm to 7am. Includes holiday rotation and may include some weekend shifts. Generous shift differential for working overnight!
Key Responsibilities:
- Admit patients to all levels of care in the facility, including inpatients and outpatients
- Captures all insurance and patient demographic information for a complete registration
- Answers telephone at hospital switchboard and directs patients as needed
- Floats to Emergency Department registration as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Experience in a medical setting preferred. Must have good computer and communication skills. Must be friendly and service orientated.
Applicant must pass a background check, health assessment including applicable vaccinations, and drug screen before hiring. Position open until filled.
