The successful National Sales Administrator will provide a variety of support to the City Cruises sales team, ranging driving prospecting campaigns to select group market segments to providing administrative support to help keep the commercial team running efficiently. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Support:
- As directed by senior leadership, selectively targets large city-wide conventions with the goal of generating interest for future group events by running Salesforce campaigns to target potential buyers.
- Based on market trends, utilizes third-party database software to create prospecting lists to target potential group buyers.
- As needed, provides support to the various sales teams, including contract generation and payment follow ups.
- Supports the Director of Guest Experiences with logistical assistance as it pertains to group enhancements.
- As needed, runs various reports out of Salesforce to assist leadership with market insight.
- Partners with the Sales Operations Team to provide support on various projects and initiatives.
- Assists leadership with monitoring weekly labor, with the goal of identified those at risk of exceeding allotted hours
- Provides weekly reporting of hourly labor for the sales team, identifying outliers in the data
- Works in partnership with revenue management to ensure that bi-weekly commission reporting is updated on time
- Assists all leadership with maintaining an overview of all memberships and subscriptions.
- Assists all national directors as needed with reporting or one-off requests
- As needed, assists leadership with special projects and initiatives
- Associate degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support or selling role
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form
- Maintain a high level of organization
- Be detail-oriented
- Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
- Focus on guest needs
- Meet deadlines
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility
- Listen effectively, assesses the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions
- Work with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends to accommodate site inspections and guest needs
