We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Employee Relations & Development Coordinator to join our growing HR team. In this key role, you will be instrumental in supporting our team, coordinating development efforts, and ensuring smooth operations across various HR initiatives. As an Employee Relations & Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in employee engagement , recruitment , and development initiatives. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help ensure effective communication and smooth coordination across the HR department. Key Responsibilities :

  • Employee Relations & Development :

Serve as the primary supporter for internal team concerns and conduct regular check-ins to ensure a positive work environment.

  • Coordinate and manage safety training, benefits presentations, team-building events, and other employee-focused activities.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team atmosphere.
  • Recruiting & Talent Development :
  • Lead, coordinate, and participate in recruiting efforts, including trade school partnerships and development of training processes and pathways.

  • Work closely with leadership to identify skill gaps and create effective training plans.
  • Training Development :
  • Collaborate with department leads to develop, maintain, and continuously improve training programs and knowledge evaluations for positions across the company.

  • Additional Responsibilities :
  • Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.

    Required Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in an office administrative setting.
  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • A passion for supporting and developing a cohesive, efficient team.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and objectivity in all interactions, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Preferred Qualifications (not required but highly valued) :

  • Experience in office administration within the HVAC or related trades industry.
  • Employee Relations and / or HR management experience.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HR platforms.
