Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled machine maintenance and ensuring the proper functioning of manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic) while prioritizing safety and reliability in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Focus:Maintain a high priority on safety by following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and using appropriate protective equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance:Troubleshoot and repair various plant machinery, including CNC equipment and motor controls.
- Electrical Work:Handle medium voltage electrical testing (480 VAC, 750 VDC), including testing insulation integrity and partial discharge, and working with transformers and motors.
- Repairs & Maintenance:Assemble, install, and maintain plant equipment, and identify and replace necessary parts.
- Preventative Maintenance:Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and assist with troubleshooting or repairs.
- Process Improvement:Assist with new process development and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Support Manufacturing & Lean Efforts:Ensure plant operations are in line with Lean manufacturing principles.
Qualification Requirements:
Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Current & Active Driver's License
Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and maintenance systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication.
- Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform moderate to heavy physical activity, and use manual/electrical power tools.
- Additional Skills:
- Metal fabrication preferred
- Welding experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Standard 40-hour workweek, with overtime as required.
- Daily physical activity in a production environment.
- Occasional travel for training or operational support.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
